Dixie Hwy Office Building
Alexis Knight Architects developed the design for a new commercial office building that reimagines an existing site along Old Dixie Highway in Delray Beach. The project transforms the approximately 0.19-acre property into a compact two-level workplace designed to maximize the potential of a limited commercial site.
The building is organized with approximately 2,000 square feet per level, placing the primary office environment on the upper floor while utilizing the lower level for parking. The design also incorporates the required site improvements and infrastructure to support the new commercial use.
AKA provided architectural and engineering services encompassing conceptual design, planning and zoning coordination, design development, and construction and permit documentation. The project demonstrates a practical approach to commercial infill, integrating workplace functionality and parking within a constrained South Florida property
