Project Narrative:
The Broward College South Campus College of Nursing and Administration is comprised of 40,000 square feet of general classrooms, nursing laboratory space, simulated hospital room and patient modeling, administrative offices and a new student commons area. The renovated project was designed using BIM and is a certified Gold LEED building.

Broward College Student Affairs Building

Central Campus: Davie, Florida

Project Narrative:
The new Student Affairs Center includes 75,000 square feet of new and renovated space. The project integrates the two existing buildings and the building into an inviting environment for students, faculty and staff. The “Open Mall” design concept allows the user’s access to all student affair services. The new project includes a full cafeteria and a cybercafé.

Indian River State College School of Nursing

Dixson-Hendry Campus, Okeechobee, FL

Project Narrative:
The new Indian River School of Nursing Classroom and Laboratory building consists of 23,385 square feet of new construction. The site is immediately

north of the existing building on the Okeechobee Campus, located in Okeechobee County, Florida. The new building consolidates the various programs the college provides from locations throughout Okeechobee to the new facility.

University of Illinois at Springfield University Hall

Springfield, Ill.

Project Narrative:
This project included a 128,000 square foot University Hall, classroom and office building at the University of Illinois’ Springfield campus. This $31 million facility houses the College of Business and Management, College of Liberal Arts and Science, Student Services, Capital Scholars Program and the Office of Admissions and Records. Moving these academic programs and student services into the new building helped to form a new campus quadrangle, which university officials hope will develop into a social and collegial atmosphere.
